CARTON 3D CUT-OUTS / RELIEF

Layered, bas-relief works-objects. With four different depictions, some offer four different ways of perception and can be hung arbitrarily. The primary material employed is paper, mostly cardboard of various thickness and hardness. Colour (acrylic, pastel, charcoal) or print is often applied to the cardboard. The artworks create something akin to a hermetic map, encompassing both the organic world with its physical laws, and a subtle and mysterious fabric of metaphysical symbols, metaphors and intimations.
